Who Writes Danmei Dreams?

I’m known as 腐兰紫 (Fu Lanzi) (she/her), a wandering 外国人 (outsider/non-Chinese person) who fell down the danmei rabbit hole and couldn’t climb out again, so now I writes about it.

Outside my enduring passion for danmei, I works in software engineering, hangs out with my family, meander through the forest, and read homoerotic subtext into all the media I consume.

Position on AI

Okay, look, I absolutely want robots to do my laundry. I want robots to free us all up to have more time and energy to create and to share with our communities. The last thing I want is for robots to do all the creative work so that humans can focus on the hard, boring, or mundane tasks.

For that reason, all creative content on this blog is AI-free. The writing is all mine, written by a real live human, inclusive of all the mistakes or bad opinions. Any art that appears on this blog (that isn’t a review of existing work) is created by a human artist who has been paid fairly. I want more art by humans, for humans, in all forms.
